What are some great games for a computer?

Could an Alienware aurora r4 run high graphic games well? If not what computer could?

• I'm looking for a gaming computer and i have $3000 give or take to spend, i found this computer and it seems great but i don't know if it can handle the stuff i would like to do. These are the specs: Processor Intel® Core™ i7-3820 (10MB Cache) Overclocked up to 4.1Ghz Operating System Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit (English) Memory2 8GB (4X2GB) Quad Channel 1600MHz DDR3 Memory Hard Drive 1TB SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive with Native Command Queuing Video Card 1GB GDDR5 NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 555 It's an Alienware aurora R4 Would a computer like this be able to run something like Skyrim or modern warfare 3 without lag? If not what specs would i need to be searching for? If you can play these games would you mind sharing what computer you have? Also I'm not great with computers and don't have the time to mess around with building one. thanks in advance for anyone that can help.

  I have a computer which is about the same as yours, slightly slower actually. And I'm completely fine on highest settings in almost all new games. I really can't imagine any games that that computer can't handle. Of course you have to consider, that the games released say, 2 years from now (if not later) could give it a hard time, but it's like that with almost all computer to be honest.
