Whats Better? iMac, Macbook or Sony Vaio?

  • I am getting a new computer next week. I don't care much about price. I was wondering which computer is better: iMac, Macbook or Sony Vaio? Or is there something better than those 3? I want it to last me a long time so I want it around a 320gb hard-rive.     putting them in order from best to worst, id have to say: imac, sony, mac book. obviously the desktops are going to be better than the lab tops because they can hold more parts. now as far as better goes, apple computers are just as good as microsoft computers except for the fact that 70% of software mad for computer is for microsoft because they dominate the market. even tough you dint mind price, realize that if you buy a mac you will be paying a lot for name brand. If you want to look at other computer, hp is the second largest computer company at the moment after ibm (mostly Business computers) and there they have a build your own computer where you can choose the parts that go into it.

I've had my MacBook since December and it runs exceptionally. It has a sleek design, attractive programming, and it gets the job done. The programs like GarageBand and Photo Booth and fun. It also has iCal to help you keep your life in order if you're a busy person. The keyboard lights up too, so you can type in the dark. I really love it. My friends all got one after I did, because it is legitimately that awesome.

Let's just forget the Sony. If you really favor a laptop, get the MacBook. If you outgrow the 250 GB drive down the line, upgrading it is only slightly harder than a simple battery swap. If you don't really need a laptop, though, the iMac offers much more bang for the buck.
