For your purpose, it doesn't matter at all. Macs and PCs use almost the EXACT same hardware. The only real difference is the software... and the price. In my opinion, get a PC, but it really doesn't matter for your needs.

pc they are cheaper and have all the features beside a built in camera but u already have one so it doesnt matter. just buy an amazing anti virus

Protip: PCs have firewire too. They're called IEEE 1394 on PC.

if you got a musical instrument get the mac because of garageband if not get a pc

mac is good for you but pc is easier to understand and not all the stuff u got is MAC compatible and you would have to purchase upgrades which wud lead yu to debt as tht costs a lot

Get the PC. I don't know why everyone says macs are better. They are the both the same in power graphics or what ever just in price. I even when to their site and looked at there graphic cards. The 2400 pro was made in 2002 and it is in the new imacs for 2009! WTF! Macs are obvious ripoffs how could they have better graphics if they have outdated graphic cards. And even if you do upgrade it to the nividia 9800 that is the same video card from pc, it accually came out for pc first so how could a mac have better graphics then a normal pc if the have the same video card or worse..... And i also make great minimovies, posters , pics on my pc with adobe so yes mac fans pc has adobe and it works alot better on pc with all my upgrades. And beware of Mac cultist. Yes they tried to make it a religion to spike sales lol.
