I cannot empty recycle bin XP.

How do I find my lost recycle bin on my Windows xp?

  • I can't find the recycle bin on my desktop computer and I've tried pretty much everything. Even if I do properties, desktop (tab), the recycle bin doesn't show up. If you have and answer, I'll try it it and if I find it, thanks!

  • Answer:

First perform a search for "Recycling Bin" by going to Start, Search. That probably won't work, I'm looking up more information on your problem. I'll edit this later. *Edit: Here you go! 1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel. 2. Click Appearance and Personalization, click Personalization, and then click Change desktop icons. 3. Click to select the Recycle Bin check box, and then click OK. *Edit: That may work, but I think that's only for Vista. Try right-clicking your desktop and selecting "properties." On the window that comes up, select the "desktop" tab, then click "customize desktop." On the next window, select "recycle bin (full)" and click "restore default," then repeat with "recycle bin (empty)."
