Why is a computer slow, even after restore?

Computer slow after Restore?

• hey guys, My computer crashed a month ago. I got a blue screen in windows and it would never start up properly. Im not very tech savvy but i did restore my computer all the way back to the beginning. The very first system back-up. That was a month ago. Now my computer runs way slower than it ever did and seems like it struggles with every command i throw at it. Videos take a while to load and lag. I thought i installed all the windows updates and did a de-frag but still the same. Any advice that i can do myself would be greatly appreciated. Again I'm not that tech savvy so tell me in "computers for dummies" lingo. P.S. I tried to do a backup disk before i restored it but the disk has nothing on it, so i guess it didnt copy.

  basically, you need new ram, most likely, take it to best buy (the whole computer tower with power cord) and tell them it blue screened and you restored it, but it is slow.
