My Logitech Quickcam won't work with Windows Live Messenger HELP!?

Help My Logitech Quickcam won't work with Windows Live Messenger. I'm using Windows Xp, and my version of Windows Live Messenger is 2009, I've tried reinstalling both Messenger and my webcam, still It says when i try to put webcam so my friends can see me, "no webcam connected" (or sumthing like that), .... even in the options menu on Messenger the box is checked so My messenger works with webcam.......... My dad also using this webcam and has The same msn and uses windows xp and it works fine 4 him.. CAN SOMEBODY PLZ HELP i would really appreciate it thxz =)

Ask your Dad to install the driver for your webcam to make it work on your computer. If he is not around to install the driver...you can search for and download it here... http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/support_downloads/downloads/webcams/&cl=ca,en Cheers
