Help useing geek squad recovery disks?

when i got my laptop about 10 years back i got three disks that say "Your personal geek squad disk" and my computer got a really bad virus and i had to restore to factory setting and i lost everything and the disks say recovery disks and i need to get the thing my computer can with because my mom had geek squad load stuff on there like trend micro and they gave her the disks to get it back, so how do i use them

The geek squad reccovery disks are basically the same as your factory settings. When you restored to factory settings you basically told the computer to make the hard drive look like it did when the factory shipped it. All the extra programs you loaded and the files you created are gone The recovery program formates the hard drive
