Does a core 2 duo motherboard support celeron dual core?
-
My friend sent me a mobo and he didn't gave me much info on it. He just told me that supports core 2 duo. I was wondering since it supports core 2 duo can it support celeron dual core? The mobo does not arrive for about 9 days so i wanted to make sure or get an idea if it supports it. This is the cpu i am planing on using on it. Both Celeron dual core and core 2 duo (dual core) requires 65w from the mobo. They are both same socket. Core 2 duo are a bti expensive and celeron dual core are less expensive and have high clock speed. I want to order it so it can arrive along with the mobo. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116348
