How do you get a sound when you get your emails?

How do i get a sound alerts for my emails ?

  • i have my email account with yahoo and am sick of havin to keep signin in and out to check my e mails. Can i get a sound alert to tell me when one arrives?

    You can install yahoo messenger for free from yahoo and leave that idling in the background. It has setting that will allow you to change the sound file for alert when emails arrive.

you could leave the page open but minimised. when you need to check it's just one click on "check mail". if you have Yahoo Messenger installed and running it will provide audio and toolbar mail alert.

Yes, I have my messenger on, and whenever there is a mail in the inbox, I get an icon in my Taskbar. You can configure it to sign in automatically
