Can I connect my computer to my DVD player if it has a USB port?

I recently got a DVD player with a USB port. I am wondering if I can somehow play stuff from online on my computer through my DVD player. For example....Can I watch Netflix watch instantly or shows on hulu.com on my TV by connecting it through my DVD player via the USB port? Thanks for your help!

Umm, I dont think you would be able to do that with it, its problably ment for a USB stick so you could watch any video's or listen to music without the hassle of burning a disc.
