Is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 590 - 3GB - Single Card good for gaming?

    Hell, that computer could eat Battlefield 3 for breakfast. You don't need that much RAM unless you want that computer to last for a long while. For Minecraft, at LEAST 100 frames. Anything less would be surprising. Call of Duty, at least 80 frames. Battlefield 3, about 50-60 frames.

Yeah that's overkill. At least 80fps for BF3 and CoD on the max settings. FPS isn't really a problem as long as it's over 30 fps.

C'mon people, if u want to brag about new computer, then print the ads and put them on houses! For that money U can buy a very descent used car and crash on some wall at 200kph rather than play minecraft!

Yeah that will be fine and run games pretty well, but imo you got too much ram. Nothing requires that much ram.
