How do I get my webcam to work?

How do i get my webcam to work again ???? please help meeee!!?

  • My build in webcam for my SONY laptop stopped working to day it like really new i got it a mouth ago my friend download some webcam effect thing called Many Cam & i uninstalled it and now when i try to use my webcam it wont work like all all it says i have no webcam but hello i am freaking looking at it!! I am so mad like am crying because i wasted all my birthday money on it help me fix it please!! (its a window 7 )

    Well buddy i think your original drivers for cam is missing or deleted so if you have motherboard's cd with laptop den reinstall it. First of all insert cd in Dvd drive then go to my computer right click on it and go to "Manage" then at right side you see "Device Manager" go to there and right click on your webcam's drivers and select update driver software and then browse my computer for driver software then browse path for dvd drive and then click ok and in few seconds it will fix your web cam problem so all the best :)))) Merry Christmas and happy new year to all :))))

Does it load at all? You may try doing a system restore and go back to a date before the webcam upgrade. I'm thinking that you accidentally deleted the driver for the webcam. If you are logged into an administrator account, click on Start>All programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Follow the instructions. Computer will restart, and hopefully your webcam will function normally.
