What web cam should I get?

I couldn't get my Acer Crystal Eye web cam to work so did what i was told. Now I have NO web cam!!?

I could see me on the web cam but it would tell everyone I tried to talk to that it was disconnected. So I did what someone told me to do to fix it, I uninstalled it and rebooted my computer. I was told it would tell me new programs found and re add the program. NOW I have NO web cam on my Acer Aspire 7720. HELP!!

Please ensure that VISTA SP1 is installed on your system prior to installing these drivers! Driver incompatibilities on a system without VISTA SP1 might affect usability. Uninstall the software too. Download the latest software and install it by directing the update driver in control panel to where you downloaded and unzipped it to. There are several different models of Crystal Eye so use the correct one in the Drivers and Utilities. http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_7720.html
