How to enable 'show my webcam' on msn?

Hi there. I have a problem with my msn, when I want to go on webcam. I click on the little webcam Icon next to my picture, and it just automatically starts a video call. Also, when my friends invite me to start my webcam they say I have declined it when I haven't. This all started when I used system restore on my laptop about a week ago. Everything was fine before. I have previously used system restore a few months ago and my webcam on msn still worked fine. I have tried uninstalling msn, no luck. I have even tried using system restore again! and still...no luck. Can someone please help me and give me some easy to follow instructions. It will be much appreciated. Thanks.

check in audio and video settings if you can see your webcam there and if you are using it on msn,,,,don't try same time to use it with another program eg yahoo messenger
