Hi, I have a problem with my pc. I changed the motherboard,then i format , of course,(at first i didnt install the drives(the cd with motherboard's drivers). When i switched on the pc for first time, (after formating) it seems this message: AMIBIOS(c) 2003 american megatrends.inc P4i65G CPU 1.7 GHz..... {then after some seconds dislays another message:--> reboot select proper Boot device or insert Boot Media selected Boot device and press any key. this message disaplays till i do RESEt the pc, when i do reset, it seems again first message "AMIBIOS(c) 2003 american megatrends.inc P4i65G CPU 1.7 GHz..... ".. but this time, the second message doesn't display, so the pc works. But always that i switch on the pc, it is this problem, so i should first to switch on pc,m than to reset,cause otherwise it doesnt work. This problem is still, and after i installed the motherboard's device.What should i do? (my boot sequence is set to "hard disk" (hddo)as the first boot device )

Maybe the hard drive is taking longer to startup than the motherboard. So the motherboard doesn't see it at first. The only solution is a new hard drive.

What is the rating on your power supply? Spinning up the disk drives and turning on the computer might be a bit much for it - if it is an older PSU, it could cause the drive not to spin up on cold power up. Also is the hard drive SATA or PATA? There may be some settings you need to tweak in the BIOS. Also look in the hard drive boot priority (it is different from first boot device).
