How do you download videos to the USB memory stick?

USB Flash drive ( memory stick) help ! Does it need to be format?

  • I just brought a new memory stick but it doesn't work properly and sadly, you can't return it :( When I put videos and music files into the drive, it did shows a complesion that those files are now on the memory stick. However, the next time when I plug in the memory stick in, ALL of those saved files show up in different languages such ¶☼►↕╤ type of language and couldn't be open. Does anybody know what is going on ? I tried deleting stuff and save other things again but same problem applies. Does this mean that my memory stick needs to be format ? If so, how ? Please help :( ! I have a Windows 7 laptop, not sure if that would help with anything but just some other fact.

    try looking at the file type such as .mp4 or.exe because during the data transfer the file type might have been changed. if not go ahead and format it
