How do I get bluetooth on my computer?

  • Hi! I have a Windows XP, and I can't seem to find any sign of a bluetooth on it. I don't know if i'm just being silly and can't find it...where would it be if XPs should have it pre-installed? If not, how do I go about installing bluetooth on my computer? Thanks in advanced!

    check this out.... go start-up...then find my computer..right click it..then pick properties..when a dialo box pops out,...look for the hardware tab..on the harware page..look for the device manager...on the device manager look if theres a bluethoot device..if it say i has..then you have the decive..but if you does'not..then you need to buy one @ an electronics shop..to have one..it has a cd ith it..just insert the cd to install the device..let me know if you have a problem instaling it..

You can't just install like software. You'll need hardware adapter to give you bluetooth capabilities.

Buy a bluetooth device, and insert it into a USB port on your comp. It should install some bluetooth software on your comp.

you need to buy a blutooth dongle form shop and put in the cd it comes ith and install it on your computer

Windows XP doesn't come with any preinstall software of bluetooth, yes if ur laptop or desktop computer has inbuild then the company drivers must be installed, so if u r buying new bluetooth then it comes with driver cd, so first install that cd and after that u insert usb bluetooth, it wll scan and then automatically detect, and it wll show the icon in ur right side tray that ur bluetooth service is on ..something like that..
