How do you get wifi on the ds?

What type of Wifi USB can I get if i want to connect my DS to the internet?

  • I have a DSI and I have games that can connect and trade items and such. I have a wireless USB internet key with Telstra and apparently I can get an antenna that connects with it and puts out a signal? Is this right? I have bought a wifi key of EBAY but it doesnt work, should I try and get an actual Nintendo Wifi Key? I really want to be able to connect to the net, short of buying a modem and getting a new internet deal what should I do?

  • Answer:

You need to get access into your ISP's wireless modem settings. Google your modems type and number, you than open a web browser. Depending on what type your modem is it will be something like 192.168.0.1, type that in and find where to enter the MAC address of your DSI. The MAC will be in your DSI's settings somewhere in its options. Add that number inside the modem settings, your device should be able to connect to the net.
