How does a Wacom Intuos3 Tablet perform on a widescreen monitor?

Which is better: Medion or Wacom?

  • After saving up for a while, I now can afford a Wacom Intuos3 6x8. I've been watching it for a while, and then today I found a Medion digital tablet that's about the size of a sheet of paper (I don't know the exact model) for $55. Which is better? Why? Oh, by the way, I have a Vista Lenovo laptop, it's widescreen, I have PS CS3 (which I'd be using the tablet for) and Flash CS3, but I want to be able to use the tablet for other things too. Wacom's pressure-sensitivity and other features as well as the programs it gives me is important, and I'll be primarily using this for graphics design, from a beginner to expert level. Which should I get? Thank you - I've got to know ASAP!

  • Answer:

Wacom is *the* standard when it comes to tablets. If you think the Intuos is too expensive, Wacom actually has the Bamboo series, which is under $100. Though it doesn't come with as many programs and all that. Last I checked, Medion is a system builder found only in Costco stores. I'd stick with Wacom.
