Problem with my computer's speakers.

My computer speakers won't work, no sound?

• Hi I'm new at computers so answer plain and simple Thanks. The speakers on my computer were working fine. But quite working. I found a test through the computer to test the speakers and a volume the speakers make the tone sound ok. I asume the speakers are OK. When I get an E-mail that has sound I turn the speakers on and can not hear anything. I can even insert a CD and still get no sound. Can some one guide me through so I can repair this problem. Thanks

  click on the "start" button, then on "control panel", then on "system", then on the "hardware" tab, then on the "device manager" button, then click on "sound, video and game controllers", from there you can reinstall all audio drivers for your machine.
