How do I connect a Mac mini to my TV?

Questions before purchasing a Mac Mini?

  • Well, the huge reason I'm getting a Mac Mini is because I can't afford to get a full-blown Mac. I have a few questions about the Mac Mini. -> Will I be able to use my Logitech wireless mouse on it? It connects up via USB. -> Will I be able to use a keyboard connected up by USB. -> What sort of monitor will be compatible with it? -> If I want to connect it up and view it on my TV screen, how would that work? It is HDMI optimized.

as one person mentioned. macs are a rip off. no one repairs them for cheap cause they are a pain to repair.

Unless you absolutely need certain Apple software applications, Macs are a ripoff. A Windows 7 PC for the same price as a Mac Mini will just blow it away in hardware performance

Yep. Any old USB keyboard and mouse will work. Additional buttons and such may or may not function depending on driver support. Any old monitor with HDMI or DVI will work, which is just about anything on the market right now. HDMI is HDMI. You plug it into the TV. That's it. If you want dual displays, just get a mini DisplayPort -> DVI/HDMI/VGA or whatever adapter. They can be found cheap on eBay.
