First of all u should have a S-video port in ur computer and in ur TV... By installing an Internal TV tuner card or a grafix card u can obtain a S-video output...TV by default has a S-video output..just connect the s-video cable from the PC to TV using the S-video cable(available in any electronic shop)...make sure u unplug ur monitor VGA cable..before testing it..in SOME CASES the monitor also supports the Dual Display

Hook them up and go into your video card settings. Right click desktop --> Properties --> Settings --> Advanced (at the bottom). Click on the tab for your video card. There should be an option in there for multiple displays. Then make sure you TV is on the correct channel, like input, or video1 or 2. lol Don't listen to them, it is entirely possible to do this with what you described. I watch movies through my computer and onto my TV all the time. Message me if you need any more help.

u must 1st have an s-vid jack on tv and pc vid card, then change settings in control panel

you can only hook it with a cable that is the same as a regular monitor. S Video is not for computers.
