How can I get my web cam to work on MSN?

Why doesn't my web cam work?

  • I bought a used laptop on eBay. It is a HP Pavilion dv2000. It has a built-in web cam but I can't get it to work. Someone told me to look on quickplay but I don't know where that's at. There is something on my keyboard that's called quickplay but the only button it has says DVD. So then I was on MSN messenger & wanted to use the video chat but I clicked on it, it took me to a place where I could purchase a web cam. Does anybody know how I can get it to work? Thanks for all your answers!

    2 things 1- don't bay a used lop top or Ipod of ebay 2-it was likely dropped email the seller and ask for an money back

did you checked the item characteristics on ebay...the webcam might not be working at all, I do not recommend to buy used electronics on ebay...my last razor ended up as my pets grooming device...
