How To Add Fonts In Ubuntu?

How to add more space to Ubuntu?

  • I wanted to add more space to Ubuntu. I am using a Windows 7 machine w/ Ubuntu 10.04 installed to it. I looked it up online and it told me to first make Windows 7 a dynamic drive. I did but now I can't do anything with it! 1) How do I change it back to normal partition WITHOUT deleting my files? 2) How do I add the "unallocated space" to Ubuntu? When I changed to dynamic the unallocated space was changed to "unknown" and now I can't use it. Please reply! I really want to start using Ubuntu as my main OS but it can only hold 17 GBs!

  • Answer:

First of all dont do anything before you are sure. THE REASON WHY ubuntu DIDNT have more space MAX is 30 GIG is because your using WUBI and WUBI sucks doesnt give u teh full capability of linux. if you want windows and linux then next time you instal ubuntu .. DUALboot it with windows. wubi installs linux under fat32 which sucks because you are limited with file sizes on it. (4 gig max). DUALboot is teh only way to get best of both worlds not wubi. after you changed your drive to dynamic you messed up your files. you need to reformat your drive now. INstall windows FIRST then Ubuntu ( boot up teh pc insert the CD and choose to boot it side by side)
