Why does my webcam show up blue on msn?

How can i disable a built in webcam so it wont show on msn messenger?

    You can disable your webcam in a way that won't make it work at all, on any program, unless you go manually and enable it again.... Here is how u can do it: ON VISTA AND 7: Go to: Start -->> Search "Device Mangager" -->> Open it -->> Find "Imaging Devices" -->> Expand the menu -->> find your webcam -->> Right click -->> Disable. ON XP: Go To: Control Panel -->> System -->> Hardware -->> Device Manger -->> Find "Imaging Devices" -->> Expand the menu -->> find your webcam -->> Right click -->> Disable. another option would be to open you device manager and disable the device. If you dont know how to do that, type device manager and your operating system into google and youll find an article on how to open it.

Can i see you :P I am just kidding... click on file and then click on preferences and then click on webcam... there should be option on who can see you online "view my webcam" if thats the option u want to remove the option!!

Right click My Computer>manage>device manager...left click in imaging devices right click on your cam and disable

Just ignore them if they ask. It's not that hard. You can't disable it.
