Is it possible to install a desktop video card into a laptop that already has one integrated?
-
The laptop im referring to is actually my grandma's, and its a dell inspiron 2200, a piece of crap by all means. Like most laptops it has its video card integrated into the motherboard. I've seen poeple connect multiple video cards to a desktop for multiple monitors, but is there a way to use the desktop video card in place of the integrated one? Don't call me an idiot if i have no idea what im talking about.

Answer:
No, most laptop has on-board graphic card. That can't be changed without change the mainboard.
