How do I use the Xbox live vision webcam with Yahoo! and AIM on a PC?
-
I hooked up my xbox live vision camera and windows automatically installed drivers. I tried to use the camera on Yahoo! Messenger chat and it was a plain black screen. I then went on AIM and the camera worked but it had a green tint in the picture (like a transparent green screen over the picture). I checked 'my computer' and accessed the camera throught there and it worked fine. Went back on AIM and the problem was still there. Does anyone have any ideas?

Answer:
Because you said it worked normally through My Computer would lead me to believe this is a software compatibility issue. Check with Yahoo! and AIM to see if they have specific requirements for web cams. The big question is how does the image look to the the receiving person? Good luck.
