How to choose a very good gaming headset?

  • I need the headset because I do not want to make noise in my room while my parents are sleeping and also i want to talk to my friends online. I am not so sure the difference between gaming headset and regular headset. Because some people told me they are all good for gaming. I checked some headset and some gaming headset. And i realized that the gaming headsets from best buy and future shop are overpriced. My friend told me to just go to a computer store and buy those cheap headset for about 20$ to 50$. I am not sure if is going to be a good quality but i am very new to this. I want to get a very good headset that has good surround sound and good bass. I don't want to get the best 1 but like something that i can experience for gaming. I play games a lot at night so i really need them. Plz give me a suggestion on what i have to look for before deciding to buy a headset. I would want to buy price from 20$ to 100$. Thx :)
