Here is the method I use Download Adobe Flash Player version 10.0.32.18 Linux (select tar.gz from drop down menu) http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Extract tar.gz and open folder right click on flashplayer-installer Properties>Permissions>Access (set to read and write) then close. right click on flashplayer-installer again and run in terminal and follow the instructions LUg.

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras Hopefully you have the 32 bit version of Ubuntu. A 64 bit flash player for Linux is still in development by Adobe.

Flash should get installed by default. If its not working, go to System -> Synaptic Package Manger and install it from there. Just search for flash and install the adobe-flash-plugin. eb
