Will buying a new video card solve my ialmrnt5 display driver problems?

Problems with my video card driver!?

  • I recently installed a new driver for my nvidia geforce 7300 from the nivido website. Since i installed the driver, my computer skips alot. For example, while playing a game like half-life 2, it will freeze and then a blue screen shows up that says that my video card has run into an infinite loop!? this happened on more than one occasion and i dont know what to do to fix it? the screen says that the problem is with my video card and to check the drivers. What do i need to do to fix this?

  • Answer:

    start --> control panel --> system --> hardware--> device manager ---> display adapter once you get there right click on your graphics card, go to properties. Then click on the driver tab then click the roll back driver button.

If your card manufacturer is not Nvidia while you are using a driver from them, it might not be compatible even though it is meant for GeForce 7300.
