Can I turn a horizontal PC vertically?

My mouse doesn't turn off when i turn off the pc ! what can i do ?

  • Hi all my mouse is a PS2 mouse (not a usb mouse) . the problem is that it doesn't turn off when i turn off the pc unless i unplug the power (electricity) cable !! anyidea how to fix it . it just light all night and this is annoying tried more than one PS2 mouse , all the same thanks

    this is caused by the way your motherboard was built, unfortunately there isnt a way to fix it (because thats the way it was built)

its suppose to do that. I have the Logitec Wireless. And even after turning off the pc, the light stays on

Actually it's not supposed to do that. Edit: I thought it was a USB mouse, I'm not sure if my answer applies to PS/2 ports, but it might. For some reason, there are some computers that continue to serve power to the USB ports when the computer is turned off. I'm guessing this has something to do with the design of the Power Supply Unit, although I have never really investigated the cause. It can be really annoying, and I can assure you that other computers don't have this issue. As far as I know there is no easy way to fix the problem. Either you flip the power switch on the back of the PC when you turn it off, or you replace the PSU (assuming the PSU is the cause) with another model that does not power the USB ports after turn-off.

you should never leave your computer plugged in to the mains, always make sure the power is off by pulling the plug out for safety reasons (fire)

You are putting your PC into Standby, Sleep or Hibernate Mode. None of these actually power down your PC. Use the Shutdown option instead.
