Why wont my new samsung galaxy s2 turn on?

• I had a samsung galaxy s2 but it fell into a puddle thing and completely broke . so my mom orered a new one online and it got here today . ive been charging it for probably 3 hours now and everytime i take it off the charger and i try to turn it on nothing happens. no lights, no sounds, nothing. when i plug it into the charger a picture of a battery thats empty with like a loading circle thing in the middle pops up and dissapears in a matter of less than a second and that happens 3 or 4 times before it stops and my phone does nothing. but when its on the charger it starts overhearting and getting really hot. someone please help

  If it's a new phone, you should call the place you bought it and maybe exchange it. My Galaxy won't start once in a while. When that happens I take the battery out for a minute or two, then put it back, and it's fine. Additional Details Then you should certainly call the place you bought it and get an exchange or refund.
