Can I use the older (40GB) PS3 HDD with an encasing to import my data to my new HDD?
-
Okay, I decided to upgrade my PS3's HDD from 40G to 120G. I also bought an encasing (plug n' play) as well so I wouldn't waste the older HDD. I have no available way of backing up my data at all. Will I be able to install this new HDD and plug back in the 40G thru the USB and be able to import all my saves/data? Or am I stuck beating my games all over again? Tips? Advice? Thank you all in advance. :)

Answer:
Yes you can copy all your data back to your new hard drive. Plug in the old one via USB and there is an option to do this I forgot what its called. The owners manual tells you how to do it.
