Please help me with my webcam?

PLEASE HELP WEBCAM PORBLEMS!!!! installation and that?

  • i bought a webcam ages ago and i lost the cd that came with it i recently just bought a new laptop and i would like to install my webcam what do i do nothing is woorkin i have installed the cd from y freinds webcam which is the same make but slightly different! it wont connect the webcam to anything! please help me thanks

Try a Google search by putting the manufacturers name of your webcam in the search box. If all else fails, IM me. :)

If you can, look in the drive of the PC the cam was connected to and find the driver it was using. If you can't do that go the the web page of the manufacturer and get the driver from there.

Have you tried going to the manufacturers website? In most cases they usually have a software download there under products/support.

XP should detect the cam and install the drivers for it. you should also beable to go to the manufaturers web site and download all software and drivers for the cam. give this a try. uninstall the stuff from your friend disk.
