How do I check what Graphics Card I have on Windows 7?

Where do you go to check your graphics card on a Windows XP Home Edition?

  • Answer:

Hi Andy three ways to go about it 1 - right click on your desktop select properties then settings then advanced 2 - start button / settings / control panel / display 3 - for more detailed information this is best click on start / run type in dxdiag hit enter click on the display tab it will tell you memory and all sorts of stuff on your card it is direct x's utility but it is installed with direct x so you have it already! Also you can right click on your my computer icon (or settings/control panel/system/devicemanger) select properties then device manager click on the display adaptor tab - won't tell you much , but will tell you what card is installed Hope i helped please B-A me if so Victor C.
