How can you use a computer to mimic someones voice?

I'm doing some research for a story line idea and I was wondering, what kind of programmes can you use to mimic a persons voice. It can be any skill level, I just need some suggestions.

You could record the persons voice using audacity and then just play it back to them. Probably the easiest suggestion :P
