What is the AMF format?

I wrote a .img file to my usb, but when i format it, it does not format it to its original size?

• Hi, I wrote the Google Chrome OS.img file to my spare 2gb usb. Ive had enough of it, as i just run it off virtualbox when i need to. I want to format my usb, i go to it on my computer, right click > format, and under capacity, its only got 250mb, despite its actual physical size being 1.83gb. I go to the Computer Management, its got 3 partitions for that usb: 1: 250MB FAT Health (Primary Partition) 2: 700MB 3: 960MB Unallocated if i right click on partition 1 (the primary 250mb), it lets me format If i right click on partition 2, i can go format, but then it says: "This is active partition on this disk. All data on the partition will be lost. Are you sure you want to format this partition? Yes/No" I click YES, and it says; "an unexpected error has occured. Check Sys event log for more info on error..." If i right click on the third partition, it gived be no options (all blanked out) I go to my Ubuntu OS, if i try and format it, it says cannot format while mounted. When i plug it in, it mounts 2 partitions, the 250 mb and the chrome os 700mb one. Pleas help, thanks in advance

  Which ever company ur pendrive is, just go to its website. U can repair ur pendrive online there. For example: to repair a transcend pendrive, we can just go to transcend.com n download a software which can repair the pendrive. But not all the problems can be solved this way.. So once just try n go to ur pendrive company's website.
