Why won't my PC work on my TV?

Plugged PC into TV, but wont work, any suggestions?

  • we've tried all the input channels but no luck, we don't know if its the tv, the cable, or the computer, please help

    Your problem is the video settings on your computer. I have done the same thing with my laptop. You need to make sure that your computer understands that it needs to send video to the TV. There are different ways to do this, however, I would got to the display settings screen and make sure that it is outputting video to the TV and that it is using the proper resolution. ATI and Nvidia both have different ways to do this using their software. Anyway there are so many variables that it is impossible to tell you without more details (graphics card, TV resolution, etc.) Also connecting a computer to a normal TV, not an HDTV but a normal TV, is not very usefull because a normal TV has a very low resolution.

here is what u do: plug it in again left click anywhere on your desktop and click properties Click settings tab Click on the #2 screen image Add your preferences and it should work
