How do I install flash player on ubuntu 9.10?

Adobe Flash Player install; Linux Ubuntu?

  • Okay, I'm new meat, like really new. It's been about 48 hours since convert. I'm able to most anything with the occasional command gotten from Google, regardless of that I've been having trouble installing Adobe Flash Player, then like a beacon of hope, the install manager (can't seem to recall what it is called right now) offers to install it for me, because apparently it can see how much of an idiot I am Lol. So, it goes to do it's thing and reports to me that I must find the broken file. 2 seconds on google and I locate it..but the problem is I don't know how to fix it...I know I go to System> administrative> Synapic package manager, I find the broken package, but now what?

Try downloading it from here- http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer10.html After you download the TAR file use your package manager to install. If this does not work, completely update on Ubuntu and try to play something.
