Why won't my computer recognize my hard drives with my video card plugged in?
-
I'm not a complete idiot. I just bought a brand spanking new 600 watt PSU to accommodate this since I thought my weak old 400 w was just having a heart attack. I have 2 hard drives and the video card is an Nvidia 8400 GS. I hate my onboard graphics. Please help!

Answer:
Sounds like you either have a interrupt request or DMA conflict. Check the video board documentation and see if you can change a jumper to change either of them.
