Where can i burn dvds?

I am having trouble burning DVDs with my DVD burner. I can burn music files, but no longer can burn DVDs. WHY?

  • It used to work like a charm. It isn't that old and I keep getting the same error message when I burn / attempt to burn a DVD. It has no trouble with burning mp3s but no longer successfully burns movies. Any ideas?

    I had the same thing happen and i down down loaded "DVD shrink" is free but hard to find a site on the web that will let you free but it fixed my prob. I think i fond it at www.pcmag.com

if you go on your com. you can go to a file and it will say copyer this is not a dvd burner but after you click on this make sure you put a blank cd in the disc drive and under were you put the blank disc there is a slot put any disk that you want to copy in that and it will copy it

If you are burning movies, like the ones you buy from the store or rent, this is most likely caused by DRM or digital rights management. This software is designed to stop people from making illegal copies of their movies. According to the copyright laws you are allowed to make backup disks for personal use and copy it to you computer, again for personal use. Unfortuanly it also states going through this software to copy the dis is illegal. If you really want to copy your movie you will need a copy of AnyDVD (www.slysoft.com) this disables the DRM programs.

I encounter similar trouble.Just visit www.dvdidle.com.I recommand DVDFAB PLATINUM. All programs updated free for life.
