Cellet retractable USB data charger cable (MICRO USB) questions.?

I have an LG AX-310 phone from Alltel and I recently bought a Cellet retractable USB data charger cable. I knew that it charged the phone, but I also thought that you could transfer like pictures from the phone to the computer. I just got it today, and when I plugged it in a pop-up came up and asked if i wanted to install it. I clicked yes, and then it loaded and said it could not install. I clicked finish, but then realized i hadn't unchecked a box that said "Do not ask me to install again", so now I don't know how to try to install it again. I'm so confused. Does this device transfer pictures and such or just charge it? It is charging, so that works. I'm a 15 year old girl who isn't that good with technical things, so any detailed answers on how to help would be wonderful. Thanks! :)

right click computer - select manage then click device manager find the deviec and select update the driver from there Please give me best answer
