How to remove a write protection from a sandisk micro sd?

  • i bought a sandisk micro sd for my phone.it broght an adapter and a flash drive to connect it to my computer.but every time i try to put music on the card it says cannot copy write protected.i've tried the switch and the tape. none of them work. what should i do?

My guess is the little flash adatper that you put the mirco sd card in. On the top left it should have a switch that tells the computer if it is write protected or not. Most likely its in the write protect position. Just move it down I believe and you should be good to go. Actually write protected error comes due to virus present in the system first scan your memory card and system any try to connect now your problem get resolved........ if not check your card reader weather it is working properly or not with other cards......... for more hacking and computer tips visit http://www.sandykarnati.com

Try replacing it in the original device and unlock the write protection from that first, then switch it over and try it.

can protect (on or off )using switch. it is there on adapter. see and off write protect switch. good luck
