Yea, on the Apple iBook or MacBook, there is a built in speaker, and it will probably work with any other computer with a speaker, but if you play somehting, and record at the same time, it will record anything it hears, including outside noises like talking.

Use this software and set it to record from stereo in so it record from the sound card, when you record from mic you can hear every thing, every noise but when you record from the sound card if you speak with some one it doesn't go to the recording. http://www.applian.com/replay-radio/demo.php

Yes. Why not? The cords you need can be found at radio shack. The speaker out on your computer is most likely a 1/8 inch stereo/audio output jack. Get a cord with that on one end and the other end to match the recorder. If your recording machines allows, you can monitor the recording through your sound system while you tape! It will not be a digital output though.

You can record audio that you are listening to on your computer using a good software called audacity. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
