Any free way to recover my data from my PSP memory stick?
-
I had a computer that had a virus on it so I decided to try to copy some very important files that I had on my computer to my memory stick before I reinstalled the OS on my computer. I had already had my music and my pictures I made(yes I make my own music) on my psp and after I copied some files I knew to be safe(virus free) because I had them on my computer before I had any viruses on my computer. So then I copied the files to my psp and then I reinstalled my OS (XP) on my computer again. Now my computer works fine but the problem is now my PSP's memory stick isn't working, it keeps asking me if I want to format the memory stick each time I try to open it from my computer. The memory stick I believe was in some (Fat32 maybe?) file system but now its in RAW format. I know there are shareware programs that can recover the data that I have on my Memory stick but they force you to pay for it if you want to actually recover the files, which i think is pure evil. Now what I'm looking for is a way(that's free) or program(freeware) that can scan the memory stick (yes even if its RAW format) and allow me to recover the files on my memory stick. All of the freeware programs I have found have gvien me errors when I tried to access or scan the drive for files. For my computer I have a internal memory car reader that goes in one of the floppy drive slots on my computer so yes I'm able to connect the memory stick to my computer. every time I go to my computer it gives me the fabled "Drive not formatted would you like to format this drive now" error. And no for the love of god I'm not clicking yes to "do you want to format this drive?". I'm desperate right now because I don't want to pay for any program, and the files on that memory stick are non recoverable if truly lost, so I'm here to say if anyone provides me with an answer that provides enough details and solves my question I will give 10 points to the person who solves my question.

Answer:
Well, there are many freeware software’s and other programs that can help you to retrieve all your lost data even after you format the Memory Stick. But, it’s usually seen when a Solid State Drive is infected or has some internal logical injuries then data recovery comes in a tough way and sometimes impossible. Using data recovery software’s in your case seems the same to me. I think is far better to contact Data Recovery Experts before using any other software’s. Consulting doesn’t cost at all! Last April I used a freeware program to retrieve my pictures from a logically injured card, actually I didn’t know that the data loss was due to the injury in my drive and finally I lost all my data’s after using a freeware program that crushed my SD Card. One i can suggest you is www.eprovided.com....... definitely can give you the best result.
