How much cut from the price tag should I ask for a USED 2008-2009 Subaru Tribeca?

• I saw on the internet it is priced $22000 for the 2009 Tribeca Limited with 45k miles on it. And theres a 2008 Tribeca Limited with 38k miles on it for $23000. Can I ask for a little bit more cut from the price tag like $2000-$5000 off? How much do you think dealers can cut from internet price? Because Im sure that the tag price is different from the store to the internet. I am asking this because, last year my friend bought a van which is $25000 and when he got out of the store, he made it lowered to $20000. He said he got almost $5000 off the price. I dont know how he managed to do that, but does that really happens?

  It does not happen with Subarus. You might get a little off the price, but basically Subarus have a very high resale value and it is difficult to get much off them at all.
