Is downloading Windows Movie Maker free?

How can i convert videos from my flip onto windows movie maker without downloading websites?

  • so i have been searching for quit a while and i am wondering how can i convert videos from my flip onto windows movie maker.Every time i drag the video on the timeline,i can only hear it but not see it.Its just a plain black screen.Im not aloud to download anything even if it is free.So if you can please tell me how i can do this.Please PLEASE tell me!someone requested a video on youtube and i promised them!And if you can tell me step by step.Like how to bring up the page,what to click,etc. You get the point right?

If you cannot download anything then you are stuck, because Windows movie maker will not import the Mp4 video from your camera. you got some software with your camera use that, Video rtim, you cannot do a huge amount with it, but maybe when you go to save it you may be able to change the format, Never used the software so you may need to have a look. another option, ( I know its sort of downloading but its a grey area) go to a friends and download a free editing package, or converter, then put it onto your computer, Just a thought.
