I need help buying a camcorder?

  • My cousin, my step brother and I are thinking of doing a first actual movie of us and we need help in picking out a camcorder. This is our first time actually taking action in doing a serious movie involving us so we don't have a lot of experience in audio or video. Can someone suggest a camera thats less then $900 for an experimental movie. The problem is that we don't know if we'll continue making movies or not after this one so we just need a camcorder right now with really good video and audio. Thanks.

HI! First let me tell you that you don't have to spend 700 or 900$ for a camcorder if you don't know that you will like it! Try get a 2nd hand canon hv20 from ebay... Be warned your sound will be terrible with lots of ambient noise unless you record it seperately and put it on after.
