What pocket camcorder is the best? What should I get?

  • Hello all :) Thanks for reading my question and please answer! Thx! Anywho I am in the market for a pocket camcorder....I want it for shooting videos of my puppy, friends, funny things I see. I will ply put them on my computer to keep, upload to facebook and you tube. I want something max $150. I am going on some trips so I want it for that and whatever it doesnt need to take photos also cause the cheap duo`s the camera sucks I hear...sooo I have been reading reviews all night and I am in need of some help I am thinking the new hd flip, or the creative vado? Or maybe the flip 4gb? I dunno I am overwhelmed with info and everyone has a different opinion so I need your help...if you know/have one or know someone who does please just tell me what the best one to buy is! lol I am kinda no fuss-so like if its super complicated I will ply never use many of its functions. lol should I just buy a cheap handheld camcorder? I just need some guidance...so please. PS I`m 27, and a girl-if that matters. :) Thanks so much!

    The Kodak Zi8 is a great pocket camera for shooting video. It can shoot in high definition 1080 progressive,720/60 frames a second,720/30 frs,wvga and still camera mode. It also has a macro feature for close up shooting. Overall the camera is easy to use and does quite well in standalone mode. I am extremely impressed with the combination of features, quality and performance. l

Flip cameras are nice for their no-frills simplicity. Hit the big red button to start, again to stop. The Kodak Playsport has more features over the Flips: still camera mode, different video recording modes, waterproof, and expandable memory since it records to SDHC cards. If you don't need the waterproof feature, look into the Kodak Zi8 as I believe it's been recently discontinued, and thus available at cheaper prices. I'm pretty sure all these cameras are girl compatible.
