Mino HD and the Ultra HD are almost the same.If maximum portability is important to you than the MinoHD is the better choice. Otherwise, if you're looking compact camcorder with more features (HDMI output, replaceable batteries, longer record time) then you can't go wrong with the UltraHD.The colors appear to be slightly more vibrant with the UltraHD.
